What machine is used to make corrugated cardboard?
The machine for producing corrugated cardboard is a complex set of equipment, usually called corrugator line or corrugated cardboard production line. The production line consists of multiple machines, each responsible for a different process, and together they process the base paper into finished corrugated cardboard. It usually consists of the following machines:

Corrugated carton production process
The production process of corrugated carton is roughly divided into the following steps:
1. Corrugated cardboard production:
- Double layer corrugated cardboard producing: This will be carried out on a single facer line, corrugating the base paper and producing double-layer corrugated cardboard, and cutting it into the required cardboard size.
- Multi-layer cardboard production: which is finished by corrugator line, a series of corrugated cardboard machinery composed of a corrugated cardboard production line, used to produce 3/5/7 layers of corrugated cardboard and cut it into the required corrugated cardboard size.
2. Printing:
Flexo printer: print the required patterns, texts, etc. on the cut corrugated cardboard to increase the beauty and identification of the carton.
3. Creasing & cutting
Creases and cutting are made on the corrugated cardboard to cut it into the required shape and size for easy folding into boxes.
4. Forming:
Folding & gluing: The printed and die cut cardboard is fed into the box gluer machine, folded into shape, glue is applied into the bonding parts and pressed to ensure a firm bond, and then transfered into the stacking area;
Stapling machine: For some special cartons, you can use a stapler to fix the cartons with nails.
Raw materials for corrugated carton production
1. Facial paper: The surface layer of the ripple carton is usually kraft paper or white card paper.
2. Corrugated paper: The middle layer of the corrugated cardboard has resistance.
3. Adhesive: Use the corrugated paper to bond with the face paper together.
