The Double Facer Machine is an important section of a corrugated board production line, used for bonding the single-faced corrugated board with the liner paper to produce double-faced corrugated board.
The machine combines heating, pressing and conveying functions to complete the continuous bonding process. It is installed after the Glue Machine and before the Slitter Scorer and NC Sheet Cutter in a corrugated board production line.

- The heating plate size is 160mm x 600mm (height*width). The surface of the heating plate has been grounded. The number of heating plates can be selected from 8 to 20 pieces according to the corrugated production line speed.

Working Process
The working process of the Double Facer Machine includes:
1. Board Alignment and Feeding
Single-face corrugated board and liner paper are accurately aligned and continuously fed into the double facer section.
2. Gluing and Hot Pressing
Starch adhesive is applied to the flute tips of the single-face corrugated board. The layers pass through the heating plates and pressure section, where heat and pressure activate the adhesive and bond multiple layers together.
3. Heating and Drying
The steam-heated plates provide controlled heating to remove moisture from the adhesive and ensure stable bonding quality. Pressure can be adjusted according to different board structures and thicknesses.
4. Cooling and Forming
The bonded corrugated board passes through the cooling section, where heat and moisture are gradually removed to improve flatness, stiffness, and dimensional stability.
5. Finished Board Transfer
