Product Overview
The Semi-automatic Carton Flute Laminator Machine is designed for laminating printed paperboard with corrugated board to produce high-quality corrugated packaging.
Unlike fully automatic laminating machines, this model requires manual feeding of the top sheet while the bottom corrugated sheet is fed automatically. This design offers a practical balance between production efficiency and investment cost, making it suitable for small and medium-sized packaging manufacturers.
The machine can laminate paperboard to corrugated board and is compatible with A, B, C, D and E flute corrugated board. It can also process laminated or film-coated printed sheets under appropriate production conditions.
Typical applications include color printed corrugated cartons, retail packaging, fruit boxes, beverage cartons, electronic packaging, and other corrugated products requiring accurate sheet alignment.
Key Features of semi-automatic carton flute laminator machine:
1. Feeding of high table, automatic feeding for bottom sheet, elastic front register, simple operation.
2. Just need one person to feed the paper. It has low request to paper, suitable for laminating paperboard to bottom paperboard, A/B/C/D/E Flute corrugated cardboard. Even filmed paper can be laminated.
3. Top sheet forwarded by manual on high table and the sheet can be piled up to 1.8m.
4. Bottom sheet is automatically fed; the two sheets are piled freely; High efficiency
5. Advanced elastic front register is used for location, high register precision, bottom paper will never exceed. When laminating, it is very easy to make top paper and bottom paper alignment, or top sheet exceeded.
6. Fully automatic glue supply system: glue will be automatically supplied during lamination, and recovered, avoiding glue wasted.
7. Scientific design for linear speed of metering roller, avoiding glue thrown when high-speed running.
8. The whole machine adopts PLC control system, compared with other time-delay device or middle relay control, the bottom paper is transferred more precise and stable, furthermore, speed is greatly increased, and circiut breakdown can automatically display and alarm.
9. Clean the lower roller in gluing section by blade with circulated water, complete cleaning, convenient to replace the blade
10. Floating movable pressing section is adopted to make the laminated paperboard smooth. This section can be moved front and back to take in paper conveniently.
11. Gear rach is used to control the lift of water tray, which is easily taken out for cleaning.

How the Machine Works:
The laminating process generally consists of the following steps:
- Printed top sheets are manually loaded onto the feeding table.
- Corrugated bottom sheets are automatically fed into the laminating section.
- The glue roller applies adhesive evenly to the bottom sheet.
- The elastic front register aligns the top and bottom sheets.
- The pressing section bonds the two sheets together.
- Laminated sheets are discharged for the next converting process.
Advantages:
Compared with manual laminating, this machine offers several practical benefits:
- Improved sheet alignment
- More stable laminating quality
- Reduced manual handling of the bottom sheet
- Continuous glue supply during production
- Easier daily operation
- Suitable for a wide range of corrugated packaging products
As a semi-automatic model, it also requires a lower initial investment than a fully automatic flute laminator, making it suitable for manufacturers with moderate production volumes.
